My family stayed here for three days during a recent visit to Chicago. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. It was very comfortable for our family of four. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I chose this hotel based on the price, free WIFI and the free continental breakfast. The WIFI worked great in our room with good signal and fast internet service. The free breakfast was a little disappointing, but it gave us something to start our day, and it was free so that was good! There was always coffee but no free juice for the kids. The free breakfast consisted of muffins and fruit. There were more options available for a fee.
We could walk to all the downtown attractions from this hotel.
The valet parking was efficient and quick.
A mini fridge would have been a welcome addition to this room.
The only real issue we had was with our clock radio which I mentioned to the front desk the first day and it never got fixed or replaced during our stay. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have.
I would definitely stay here again and have no problem recommending this hotel to my friends.

The appearance of the hotel upon arrival was not as good as it looked on the website. We were led to room 101 which was neither on the first floor nor the second and involved taking an elevator to second floor and steps down to the room (we had several suitcases so this was not convenient).

Once there, however, room was large, clean and well appointed. It was also incredibly quiet (caveat: there were 11 dumpsters outside and below the window not emptied by a beeping truck while we were there). Bathroom amenities also complete but the shower curtain gave us the choice of soaking the floor or having it constantly blow in on me as i showered. It was too light.

Location was pretty good but it was mile from the main shopping area. we like to walk so it wasn't a problem. Adler Planetarium, Grant Park, Art Museum, south side of Michigan Ave were all easily accessed.

We would stay there again if looking for a reasonably priced stay.

I stayed at the Wyndham Blake Chicago on a business trip. The room was great and the staff very friendly. However, the continental breakfast was limited to muffins, bananas, coffee and orange juice. It is served in the restaurant, so you could order a full breakfast. A little wider selection would have been nice. Still, the room was great so this is just a minor complaint.

I was in Chicago for a business trip and chose this hotel because of the proximity to my office. It was also helpful that it was signficantly lower in price than many others in the area (plus I could walk to my office from there). The hotel is very clean, and the restuarant is great. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in Chicago.

Room Tip: If you are looking for a quiet room: ask for a high floor, away from the elevators

I chose this hotel in Chicago for location and good recommendations I read in tripadvisor. It is close to several attractions like museums, aquarium, planetarium, willis tower and great parks where you can go walking. It is a little far away from downtown and mag mile, 25 minutes walking, so if you want to go to Chicago for shopping only, better choice another hotel near to the river, a better area but also an expensive one.
The only bad thing I could found was the breakfast. It is clear that most of hotels in Chicago do not provide breakfast, so it is a luxury to have it. But it is really really light: a coffee, a muffin and an apple, that's all. It is fine but a little bit shocking at the first morning. The good thing is a starbucks in front!
The hotel is quite, rooms are wide, beds are incredible, lot of pillows to choose. The bathroom is a kind of neo-modern style, so no tube or anything that get the water from the shower inside. So after the shower the whole bathroom is a pool. That is not nice at all but at noon the bathroom is a bathroom again thanks to housemaid.
I got a nice time in this hotel, the city is wonderful!

They had had a little fire just before we got there, so they sent us to another hotel for the first night, but they picked up the tab and it was a better hotel, so one can't complain. Once we got there -- there was a little construction noise, but they did a pretty good job. Well located. I'd go back.
