I'm fairly local. I took the Amtrak for a short solo trip to Chicago so didn't want to pay $200 for a hotel for just me. I stayed on a Wed on the main floor in a front/street side 6 girl dormer (114). Positives: linens and bathroom were clean. Showers worked and were hot (yay!). Towel rental was convenient and def worth the $2. It was super quiet, since it wasn't the weekend. Staff were very friendly. Convenient location to blue line. Negatives: bed was uncomfortable (hard). Not enough outlets in the room and not in right location to charge your phone overnight and keep it with you in bed. Kitchenette smelled badly of b.o. Bathroom stalls were TINY. I'm small and there wasn't enough room to sit on the toilet and shut the stall door. It was shabby; there were walls that needed significant drywall repair.
