Flanked by Millennium Park to the North and the museum campus to the South, this beautiful park on the shore of Lake Michigan is, in my opinion, the perfect park. Punctuated in the middle by the beautiful Buckingham Fountain, this expanse of grass, gardens, ball fields, tennis courts and walking paths offers a host of activities and events throughout the year. Bravo, Chicago!

“Open Park”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Yet another great park just beside Millennium Park. This park is illed with sculptures and has the famous Buckingham Fountain as well as the tall Agora sculpture near the South end of the park. If you are with family and kids as we were there is a subway restaurant near the Agora sculpture; the food was usually, washrooms were clean and there was enough sitting available. This place is perfect for a walk, jog or to sit down and relex as the area is huge with well-groomed grass.

The best thing of all its FREE!!!

“Nice and peaceful”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

Grant Park has a variety of options for enjoyment. You can visit Millennium Park, in it's northwest corner, which is touristy, and then go a little further in for peace and quiet. Definitely check out the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, Lurie Garden, Buckingham Fountain, and sculptures. The perfect spot for a walk on a nice day.

“Great Art in this Park.”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

Grant Park is filled with sculptures, fountains, and miles of well-groomed paths that are perfect for walking, running, and biking. The park is at the center of many of Chicago’s great attractions, and if you can spare an hour or more and want to enjoy a great time outdoors, Grant Park is a great choice. The sculpture “Agora” is near the South end of the park and it is worth the jog down there. That said, it is still a park, so if you have the time and the cash- experience one of Chicago’s main attractions like the Field Museum or Willis Tower.
