“Steer you bike north and have fun here”
Reviewed 21 November 2013

Lincoln Park is a spectacular urban park (one of the best in the entire country). Take a break from your downtown Chicago experience, and venture up--just a little ways--up here, and it's just great. There is a terrific urban zoo, no charge! And very cool beach-side lake/park opportunities. What we would most recommend is for you to--gasp, rent a bike... and head up this way, take a break for a killer lunch somewhere random in Lincoln Park or a mile or two up or down. It's all very good. So cool that the original planners created this gorgeous lakeside, forested, precious place, with beautiful sailboat marinas all along the way. Don't miss it.

“Great, inexpensive day to spend enjoying Chicago”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

An expansive park in a great neighborhood, not far from downtown, along the Lake Michigan shoreline and you don't have to spend a dime! The zoo, conservatories, gardens, fountains, sculptures, trails and green expanse are all free to enjoy with only the Nature Museum charging a fee.

You can easily spend an entire day wandering and venture over to nearby Kingston Mines for some really killer blues performances. There is also a street not far from the park with an extensive collection of restaurants for all budgets and tastes!

“Gorgeous Lakeshore Park”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

Situated on the shores of Lake Michigan this beautiful Park offers loads of things to do including a visit to the Zoo or the Nature Museum or the Conservatory. Great place to walk, jog or cycle or simply chill and take in the views over the Lake or of downtown Chicago to the south.

“Lots to do”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

Lincoln Park is really nice - there's a conservatory, nature museum, lily pond, lakes, and more. While I did not go in the nature museum, there is a nice nature trail going around the museum that shows different habitats. There is also a nice trail around the North Pond next to the museum. And be sure to stop in the Conservatory (it's free!) and walk around the lily pond next to it.
