“Excellent boutique hotel”

Love this hotel. Way better than the one we used to stay for our long layovers in Chicago. Pefect location, it is situated within a block off Michigan Ave and across from the Chicago Tribune and close to the Riverwalk. Rooms are comfortable with coffee makers, iron/ironing board and gym on the LL1. What's also nice are free wifi and bottled water on each floor.

This hotel is in a great location and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to help everyone. The hotel is very clean and even has a free expresso machine and water bottle stations. The rooms are a little small but we didn't spend much time in it so no big deal. The little Italian restaurant that's connected to the hotel is amazing. I had my very first deep dish pizza there and it was delicious! It was by far the best deep dish I had in Chicago!!! Our waiter was very friendly and made it a great experience. When I visit Chicago I will for sure stay at this hotel again. I also would like to say a special thank you to Roman King (I think that's how you spell it) because he went above and beyond to provide great customer service. Thanks for the duck tape.

As a first time visitor to Chicago, Club Quarters on Wacker at Michigan was a very good choice. The central location provided easy access to most popular Chicago sites, Mag Mile, Millennium Park, Chicago River, Theater District. My husband and I had a river view room on the 21st floor. Although the room was rather small, typical of big city hotels, it was clean, comfortable and had a small refrigerator. The hotel staff at the front desk was friendly, efficient and very accommodating. They provided restaurant recommendations, made reservations at "hard to book" eateries, arranged tickets for us and provided general information that helped make our Chicago visit most enjoyable. We stopped most afternoons at the small cafe on the ground floor for a refreshing drink and/or a snack after a long day of site seeing and before heading out for an evening of good food and entertainment. I look forward to staying again at Club Quarters on our next visit to Chicago.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a river view.

The hotel has the best position in downtown chicago (on the river, in the middle between the mile and the loop/millenium park), you can go everywhere on foot. The hotel itself is ok, with a decent price. Rooms are small but relatively clean. I have been there four times, always satisfied.

We have stayed at Club Quarters twice, in April 2014, and several years earlier. We have been happy both times. It is a great location for someone (like us) who walks. Walk to Michigan Ave, walk to the loop. Our room was nice. The rooms are the size you would expect in a big city. Too small to spend much awake time in, but great for a place to sleep and change clothes for your next adventure. There is a cute small restaurant in the first floor which is great for grabbing a bite before you go out. We will stay there again.

Room Tip: Weekend traffic sound is not a problem. Facing the Chicago River gives you a bit of a view.

I stayed for 3 nights in June, 2014. The location of this hotel is very good as it is right at E Wacker and Michigan. The rooms are a bit small and not overly fancy but were clean and relatively modern. There is a fridge and free bottled water. The TV had a decent channel line up. The gym was pretty good, with cardio, universals, and free weights. There is a lounge on the 2nd floor that has couches and seating areas for groups to hang out in. The staff were good but there was always a line up at the front desk. There is an onsite restaurant and bar but I didn't get to try it. There is a Walgreens right down the street.

Bottom line - if you get it for the right price (vs Swisshotel or Hyatt, Wyndham which are next door) it is worth it.

Club Quarters in Chicago has an ideal location facing the Chicago River, and is one block from Michigan Ave, and within walking distance to Millineum Park, The Chicago Art Institute, etc. The staff, Pedro and Tania were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is perfect for individual travelers or corporate travel, offering access to complimentary wi-Fi, computers, printers, and enclosed areas on the 2nd floor to work. The Italian restaurant next door was excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We did feel the rooms were a bit small, tiny like in Europe, (ours on the Club side had 2 twin beds in it) and we wondered if the rooms on the hotel side were larger? We would have liked to have had an iron and ironing board in our room, and learned later in our stay they are available if requested. Also, if a clothes dryer is available for guests to use on the property? We encountered a torrential rainstorm sans an umbrella, therefore had many wet items to dry! I would definitely recommend this hotel, but encourage people to ask about getting a larger room than we had. The decor in the rooms is very restful and nicely done.

Room Tip: Ask about the size of the room or better yet, ask to see the room when checking in, as they could po...
