If you are looking for Mediterranean food in Lincoln Park that has no zip or pizazz then this is your place. There are good options for both carnivores and veggie folks. We are of both persuasions, and unfortunately both were unimpressed. The veggie sampler plate looked nice, served in a divided metal dish, kind of on the order of a bento box. However, all of the options were bland and unseasoned, especially the falafel and homous. Unforgiveable in a place that specializes in Mediterranean cooking. The lamb kabob was completely lacking taste, but the couscous was very nice. There was absolutely no presentation to the plate however. Bottom line is you can do much better in so many other places in Lincoln Park. Yes, it is not an expensive place, and to be fair, the service tried really hard, with owners obviously concerned and going table to table. They should be concerned as folks will not come back to this space unless something a bit different and unique and good tasting is done here.
