This is a pretty good spot for a seafood dinner. There were seven in our party and we decided to give this place a try as it was not a long walk from our hotel. The location inside an office building and off the street was not that easy to find and was quite frankly probably easier to locate on foot than it would have been in a car. Nonetheless, once we found it, the interior proved to offer a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The seating arrangement was somewhat segmented and allowed for some seclusion and privacy when it was not busy, as was the case when we were there. The waiter attended to us promptly and the service was very good all evening. I started with the Coconut Curry soup which was fabulous. My colleague also indicated the Lobster Bisque soup was excellent. For entrees, we had various items and the reviews were mixed. I had the blackened tilapia and one of my colleagues had the blackened salmon. Both were covered with a black pepper cream sauce and were accompanied by grilled vegetables and rice. We were in agreement that both were very good. However, one of my other colleagues had the trout and indicated it was only average. Another colleague had the mussels and found them to be equally mediocre. Hence, our experiences varied according to the dish chosen. The prices were fairly reasonable, however, making it a decent value. Overall, this is not a bad place to try if you want fairly - priced seafood in a nice atmosphere in downtown Chicago.
