“A fun place with decent food”
Reviewed 10 July 2014

This is a nice place to meet friends to grab a margarita or some chips and guacamole. They make the guacamole to order at your table and it is pretty good. The other food items are average but not bad for the price. This would be a nice, casual place to go with a few friends for a bite to eat.

“Awesome soup!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014 via mobile

The chicken soup was delicious! A big bowl with lots of fresh veggies! Not too salty. Best mexican chicken soup I've had yet, other than my own. Restaurant is small/ servers are very friendly.

“Great Mexican Fare!”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

This is a very good Mexican restaurant. It has an expansive menu and fresh made guacamole. The front windows open all the way and gave it like an outside vibe. The portions are huge, especially the burritos. Plenty to take home. Drinks were also very good. Service was fast and waiters very helpful describing the menu

“Quaint and cozy”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

My son and I were looking for some Mexican food and almost stopped at the El Mariachi location further north on Broadway. But my son said, go a few blocks south to this one, which is more cozy and authentic feeling. The doors were all open to the sidewalk, which gave us the feeling of a sidewalk cafe and we enjoyed watching the parade of people and dogs passing.

It's tiny, but well staffed and the food was very good. We ate two baskets of the tortilla chips; they were hot, greasy and good. My son had the skirt steak, which was tender and very flavorful and I had cheese enchiladas with suiza sauce. The enchiladas were very cheesy and the sauce was different than most I have had, sort of creamy, and very good. Presentation was nice and we enjoyed the Mexican pop music. It was just what we wanted and we left full and satisfied.
