Friend told me about this place and decided to check it out with one of my other friends. It was a pretty cool experience. The coffee is pretty good, but where this place shines is the atmosphere and view. Really unique place and super cool. Worth the trip.

We always like to stop here while visiting Chicago. It's in the trendiest Chicago neighborhood on the Magnificent Mile and is a great place to have a coffee or excellent hot chocolate on the cold Chicago day and the not-too-sweet muffins. It's reliable and comfortable.

Great coffee with an even better view - from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Observatory! Choose a day and time when the number of visitors is likely to be low, and sit in the cafe simply soaking up the fabulous views of Chicago way below you!

If you expect great Italian pastries, be sure you visit the day they bring them in fresh. Apparently that was not my lucky day. They were all one day old! But I got a refund to soothe my disappointment. Being from Turin, Italy, the home of Lavazza, I was expecting an Italian tradition. The baristas were very courteous and apologetic, but they have to do what management tells them. Shame on you, Lavazza!
