This retro chic boutique hotel was everything I was expecting and more. The staff were delightful and cheery. The coffee shop off the main lobby was a real treat, I loved that they had almond milk and not just soy for a dairy substitution. The rooftop patio was the place to be at night and can include a wait since they do not accept reservations. However, it is a great place to go even in the afternoon to enjoy the view and a few appetizers. The only thing that negatively impacted my stay aside from the single queen sized bed room being a wee bit too tiny, was the absence of a mirror outside of the bathroom in our hotel room. It made it difficult to get ready when one person was using the bathroom and the other had to wait in order to access the mirror inside, making for a cramped bathroom experience with two people getting ready in front of the only mirror. In some of the hotel room images I saw mirrors outside of the bathroom and am left wondering why ours was missing... strange. That aside, I had a great stay at Hotel Lincoln and would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay there the next time I am in Chicago! (I will just make sure to get a larger room and one with a more than one mirror)
