Being in my mid-40s, I was a little out of my element with the "hipster" culture of Hotel Lincoln. However, every member of the staff, from the valet / bellman and check-in with Isaiah, all the way to Daniel at checkout, were sincere in their over the top friendly approach. From the gentleman in the coffee shop to the breakfast wait staff in the restaurant, there was a clearly identified environment of customer service. Not the type that makes you think they have to, but the kind that makes you think they're really interested in you having a great experience at Hotel Lincoln. I'll be back soon, and can't wait to enjoy the rooftop bar when it's a bit warmer.

Loved the Hotel Lincoln. Great staff that bends over backwards to accommodate. Rooms are a bit small and the el is a few blocks away but walking distance to many great restaurants, Lincoln Park Zoo and Second City. Be sure to check out the rooftop bar for a lite bite, cocktail and great view.

This our third stay at the Hotel Lincoln. It is a fun place to stay in a great location for us. We like the funky lobby, great roof top (indoors in the winter) bar and the coffee shop always has something delicious and quick. The rooms are rather small but nicely furnished. If they could only add some flat space to the bathroom I would say it is perfect.

Room Tip: The two room suite gives you more space

My two friends and I blew over from Detroit for a night in the Windy City to catch a gig at the Metro/Smart Bar. From the moment I spotted the exterior sign, I knew we were in for a treat! The lobby was funky, engaging and welcoming. Our room was a touch on the small side, but the bed was comfortable—after all, we didn't come to Chicago to sit around in our room =) Unfortunately we missed out on the rooftop lounge, but next time, next time...

The staff gave us a series of delicious dining recommendations (Kamehachi for dinner; Nookies for brunch) and didn't seem to mind our running around the common areas when we got back from our show super late at night. I enjoyed an Americano from the more-than-adequate attached coffee shop so kudos for that as well.

It may be a rule that everyone who works here has to be cute as a button!

Room Tip: We paid an extra $10 for a park view room, but it ended up being catty-corned between Wells and Clar...

Hotel Lincoln is wonderful! The staff was fabulous. The interior is very unique. Not your standard hotel. Great location. Small room but absolutely perfect for a single guest! Cute lil coffee shop on your way out in the morning!

Going to the Windy City in the winter? Why not? The snow made for a more wonderful experience! And the Hotel Lincoln made for an even greater experience! Location? Excellent. We walked in the park and to Second City, the Conservatory and Chicago History Museum. Very near the 3 plays we saw in 3 days. Room? Great view of Lake Michigan. Took many spectacular pictures right from our window. Very comfortable and clean! Two bathrooms! Breakfast was awesome in relaxing atmosphere. Elaine's Coffee Shop is the best for early morning wake up! Very energetic staff. Van gave us great direction and Glenn helped secure theater tickets within minutes for us. Hope to go to Wrigley this summer. Hotel Lincoln is ideal for out-of-state baseball fans like us and hope to stay there once again.

We stayed one night at Hotel Lincoln when we were in town for a concert. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to get us a taxi. The location is great, right behind the zoo, and you can walk to area restaurants. The rooms were small but that's what you get in an older building, and it didn't bother us at all. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Our room had a view of Lake Michigan which was very nice.

We had a delicious lunch in Perennial Virant. My husband and I split the Reuben sandwich off the brunch menu, and it was fantastic. Next time I'm in the Lincoln Park area I would go back there to eat. We sat at the bar, and the service from the bartender was amazing.

That night we went to the rooftop bar J. Parker. We just had a drink and an appetizer and left. The view was nice, but I'd like to go back in the summer.

The next morning we had a light breakfast in the coffee shop, which was also very enjoyable.

If I needed to stay in the Lincoln Park area again, I would definitely stay here.
