“Worth an hour, but not a ton here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

The bean is cool and worth the visit, but really the rest of the park is pretty basic downtown park level quality. Very clean, and very safe. Very busy on the weekends. If visiting go to the bean on a weekday to avoid the crowds and to get better pictures. Chicago is a great place to walk (Be careful in the crosswalks. Cabs ignore walk signals) and this is a great place to walk to

“Frankie Knuckles Tribute”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

I recently visited this Bean statue while attending a House Music Tribute to Frankie Knuckles whom passed in March 2014. We danced and sang songs that he was famous for playing at the Music Box, Warehouse, and Sauers. We laughed and cried but it was a spectacular view when night fell and we all held up our cellphones to the sky. The view was spectacular off the Bean!!!

“No trip to Chicago would be complete with out a picture at Cloud Gate”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

This park is a must see when visiting Chicago. It is adjacent to the art museum so it is worth a stroll through after visiting the museum. The Cloud Gate (silver bean) is one of the best sculptures in the city. We usually go early on sunday morning on our way out of town and it seems like we have the place to ourselves. Other times it is just overcrowded. The Crown Fountain is also a great place for kids to splash in. If you are interested in public artwork I would also suggest seeing the Picasso and Dubuffet.
