We had reservations - for a group of 7 - which limited the tables where we could be seated. The restaurant was packed and the group at the table we were assigned to way over-extended their experience which meant we were not able to be seated until about 45 minutes after our reservation time. The management was nearly mortified and gave us several free drinks and appetizers while we waited, but it still was a bit long! Once we got seated, the food was fantastic! We had a variety of items like coconut chile mussels, duck vindaloo arepas, caldeirada de peixe (Brazilian seafood stew with Indian seasoning), and lamb shank gassi (mangalorean braised lamb shank, mango panch puran rice, tomatillo jalapeno “pachadi”). Such variety, such fusion! Though a long wait, a wonderful experience.
