This restaurant was highly recommended by the concierge at the Peninsula Hotel. What a disappointment. Crowded, noisy, our table was near the bathroom. Our waitress seemed to be brand new and had no idea how to describe the food, offer suggestions, etc. Asked if a bottle of wine was good she had to ask the bartender.
My salmon was burned to a crisp, literally. Sent it back, the next portion was cooked basicly the same and was quite small.
There is nothing positive to say about this very under average place. Very disappointing. Perhaps they reserve the main room and experienced waitstaff for local Chicago residents?
A word of interest- my wife described her $19.00 angel hair with marinara (which was over-cooked spaghetti) as "chef boy-ardee"!
