The food and desserts were uniformly excellent. I showed up a little late to meet up with a party of seven, all of us attendees at a nearby conference. We all ordered different things; some had coffee and dessert, some had appetizers, others had entrees without appetizers . . . in other words, we all racked up very different bills. But the wait staff member, otherwise accommodating and friendly, acted as if he'd never dealt with separate checks before, and paying the bill became a bit problematic. For those of us required to submit an expense account, it was impossible to get an itemized bill acceptable to our various employers for reimbursement. An otherwise most enjoyable meal became fraught with problems, and nobody left particularly happy. So I'd recommend this restaurant with a caveat: If you need separate checks, be sure to ask for them up front.
