Stayed here one night with my Choice Privileges points for a weekend in the city. Room was on the small side but clean enough and comfortable. Like everyone has said, the location is the top reason to stay here. Just off Michigan Ave makes it a perfect from which to explore downtown Chicago. We ate at the Signature Room in the Hancock and then walked to the Inn. Later took the bus to the Skydeck and back to the Inn and then walked to the Hard Rock Cafe. (Only half a mile walk each time.)
No continental breakfast but there is a coffee shop next door and a Dunkin Donuts across the street. We were in a Traditional King room on the 22nd floor on a Friday night and didn't have any trouble with neighbor noise. Only complaint was there wasn't any hand soap, just bodywash and shampoo both of which smelled like lemon cleaner.
It was an easy choice to stay here since it was free but I think the rates are pretty reasonable for a downtown Chicago hotel so we would probably stay again. Very convenient.More
