Front desk Staff was very attentive. Josephine was especially helpful. Nice outdoor roof top patio. WiFi worked very well. The location is convenient to the subway. Also, close to many great restaurants.

Front desk staff are very rude! The rooms don't seem very clean; we rented 2 rooms, also we couldn't slept because the people next to our room were fighting all night long. Ohh and parking is terrible!

Dear Lufehersan,
The reception you received during your stay is not representative of the service we pride ourselves upon here, and sincerely apologize. It disappoints us to hear that your neighbors caused major disruption during your stay, and hope that you communicated this to our front desk team. We would have done everything in our power to remedy the situation. If given another opportunity, we hope to welcome you back for a much improved experience.

I wanna start off by saying that this hotel is in a fabulous location, right off the magnificent mile and close to most Downtown attractions and the rooms are decent size and clean. But other than that, they claim they don't have a continental breakfast because they don't have a kitchen, but they have room service menus in the rooms? They also list on their website that they have safe deposit boxes but fail to mention the size. The boxes aren't in the rooms and they're the size of a passport. I had to carry my laptop in my purse wherever I went. And the staff is a little rude and moody most of the time. I'm not necessarily unhappy with this hotel, the good and bad weigh out evenly so it's not terrible but I don't think I will be coming back.

Dear alisonferrell,
You can't beat our hotel's location just around the corner from Michigan Avenue and minutes from many popular Chicago attractions! It disappoints us to hear if the lack of breakfast caused any inconvenience, but our front desk can recommend great cafe's within walking distance from us. We would like to reassure you that, while your stay certainly did not meet the highest level of service we are capable of, your experience is a rare one – one that I hope you will allow us to improve upon, provided you choose to give us another chance in the near future.

Front desk was super rude, the rooms are ridiculously small, there was a half drank cup of coffee in our room and the soap packet was open/empty. Windows are terribly loud even on the 20th floor. Just an overall poor experience and definitely NOT worth the price.

Dear CSuhr,
The Inn of Chicago is known for its courteous staff, central location, affordable accommodations, and historic charm. We regret to learn if our front desk team did not provide you with a welcoming impression, and can assure you this is never our standard. Also, it seems the exterior city noise caused some disturbance during your stay, and wish there was something we could have done to resolve this issue. We strive to provide a great experience to all of our guests and are sorry that we fell short in your case.

I chose this hotel because it was very cheap, with at least acceptable pictures and a great location. I don't know if the prices are always like this, but to my surprise this hotel was great (and not just good cost-benefit). The room and bathroom were large, confortable and clean. I also confirmed that the location is great, most of main Chigaco touristic attractions are at a walking distance, and also some nice shops. The only problem is that the hotel didn't offer breakfast and also didn't offer free wi fi in your room, but it did offer free wifi on the lobby though.

Dear Fraianeli,
We are happy to read how much you enjoyed our comfortable accommodations in the heart of downtown Chicago! Since we are a limited service hotel, there is no kitchen and restaurant on-site offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, our Front Desk can recommend great cafe's within walking distance that serve full american breakfast. Thank you for telling us about your recent stay, and we hope to welcome you back again soon.

Hotel is only a block away from Michigan Ave., food, shopping and fun. Everyone was very helpful. The bar was fun with plenty of people and the sitting area was cozy. I found the room to be chilly and dated, the good thing was the heater settings were adjustable. Slept well and spent most of my time out and it was a GREAT weekend! I don't recall seeing a restaurant or a pool, but a nice coffee shop is connected to the hotel. Again, it's in great location!!
