Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers was our special destination for our honeymoon, and we choose wisely! Reservation making was a snap online and when we checked in we received a complimentary upgrade to the 33rd floor which is their Club level. Access to continental breakfast in the morning and afternoon snacks as well as access to the lounge and complimentary soda and water. Very nice! All employees we had any interaction with were very friendly and gracious. The room was great with a nice view. The bed was amazing, so comfortable. Be careful about the snacks in the room. If you even just PICK UP a jar of snacks or bottle of water, your room will be charged, even if you put it back. Call the desk to have these charges removed, they can be very costly.
We dined once in the hotel, at the burger bar. Expensive, but very good. Dined by the river and loved it.
I would highly recommend this Sheraton! And with the AAA discount I used, it wasnt too hard on the wallet.

This was our second stay at the Sheraton Chicago on North Water Street. Great location on the river with excellent views down Wacker and toward the lake. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely lobby, spacious room, good fitness center and pool, and above-average food at the Burger Company on the river. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the city.

For the general aesthetics of the outside, the poor traveller would think they are in a swanky place. However, it's not bricks and mortar that make a good hotel, it's service. The Chicago Sheraton at 301 Water Street doesn't seem to think that service is essential. Also, be very careful about their check-in/checkout policy. A good hotel has a 4 PM rule, but not so with the Sheraton Chicago. If your stay is altered and you need to checkout "early", you will be penalized an entire nights stay at their already highly priced rooms. Be careful you plan your visit perfectly or better yet, pick a real hotel. The restaurant charged me $23.00 for two (2) scrambled eggs and three (3) pieces of bacon!
