We try to book this hotel when we are in Chicago and want to stay downtown. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking is expensive, but competitive for this area. The only other complaint I can think of is slow, expensive internet access, common in hotels.

Dear Meredith G,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us and other travelers. It sounds like you had a great time here in Chicago. Reading the experiences of our guests is something that we enjoy doing and yours are no exception. I have noted the point about the internet being slow in your room and we will follow-up to troubleshoot this situation. Our systems were upgraded less than two years ago with AT&T Stay Connected and we have a capacity of 200Mbs which should be more than enough, clearly we need to follow-up to make sure we deliver a fast internet in all our rooms.

It was a pleasure and privilege to serve you during this past visit and we look forward to welcoming you back the next time you are in Chicago.

The Hilton Suites is perfectly situated near an excellent part of Chicago. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance and Michigan Avenue is also a short walk. Things like Millennium park are a short taxi cab away and also very accessible. The hotel is very clean and has an ok fitness room and a good sized pool. The only drawback was the pullout bed which was slightly less comfortable than a standard pullout.

Dear Joyride0011,

Thanks for recommending our location. There is no doubt that being steps away from the Mag Mile, the American Girl, Lake Michigan and the restaurants on Rush Street makes it easy to enjoy our fabulous city. The shoppping is also just around the corner and the John Hancock Tower is across the hotel giving our guests the opportunity to have a beautiful view of the city when visiting the tower. I have noted your point about the sofa and will follow-up to see what modification is needed on this particular one.

Your feedback is valued and appreciated. We look forward to be your hotel of choice the next time that you are visiting Chicago.

Good value for your money. Don't be worried about staying here. I was here one night before going to the Fairmont (don't go there by the way..its a let down). The staff and service were funny, yet very professional. I really liked the staf there were extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints. I would like to stay here again. Thanks for the free wifi.

I recently stayed at this hotel because I expect a certain standard from the Hilton brand, what I received was a front desk manager who thought that he was doing ME a favor by allowing me to stay here. Needless to say I did not "catch them at their best." I travel quite a bit for work/pleasure and prefer to stay with a national brand, e.g., Hilton and Marriott"s. I was very disappointed with this Hilton hotel because of their front desk manager and will not be returning when visiting Chicago.

Dear Ias731,

Please know I regret your expectations were not met on this visit. Your feedback is highly valued and will be shared with the appropriate managers and associates to make sure things are handled differently in the future. You staying with us is a privilege and it is not something that we take for granted. Please be assured that this is not typical of the service and experience you can expect from our Hilton and other Hiltons.

I hope that you will give us another chance and should you decide to come again to Chicago, please feel free to contact me directly and I will be happy to assist with your reservation.

I stayed three nights during my business trip in this hotel. The suites are really great and can fit the whole family in. There are two double beds and separate living room, work corner, large bathroom, kitchen corner, two TVs. The rate is reasonable ~250 $ a night with taxes. The best way to get to the hotel from OHare Airport is the tube/train which cost only 5$ compared to the taxi 50 $. I dont recommend tp take the rental car unless you travel a lot outside the city. The nightly parking fee is horroble 64$ in the hotel or if you use the public parking in the next block it is only 35$ A day.
The hotel has an excellent location close to the see as well as close to the city center and SEARS tower. Alot of expensive shops near by so bring your platinum card with you. Highly recommend tp visit SEARS tower in the evening, magnificent view!

Room Tip: Suites are vey nice and good value for the money

This is not as flashy or artistically beautiful as some of the hotels on Michigan Avenue. The charm of this hotel is it’s attentive staff and consistent quality. I've stayed here 1/2 dozen times. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is excellent and genuinely wants to help. Location is wonderful; if the TILT breaks at the Hancock you'll probably land in your room. If you take the side entrance of Water Tower it’s maybe 5 minutes to be back in your room, which is wonderful for shoppers or fans of FOOD LIFE, like me.

This is hotel I pick when I want to go downtown for some quick weekend fun and I don't want to spend $400 to stay in the hotel equivalent of the Art Institute. You won’t hang out to admire the lobby; but like Chicago this place gets it done, an appropriate tribute for The City That Works.

Dear Mike M,

Thanks for recommending our location next to the John Hancock Tower, steps way from the Magnificent Mile and a short walk to Water Tower Place with a lot more that is just around the hotel in the beautiful Chicago Gold Coast . Many of our return guests have told us that our location is perfect and that they enjoy the friendliness of our team members.

Chicago is a fabulous city and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time that you visit Chicago.

We traveled to Chicago for pleasure recently. The hotel's proximity to restaurants and shopping as well as the suite style rooms made our stay perfect. A queue of cabs was always available outside, but we walked to almost all downtown attractions north of the river. Our young daughter especially loved the proximity to American Girl. For a downtown hotel, we found this hotel to be remarkably quiet.

Room Tip: If you can get a lakeview room, GO FOR IT!
