This is a very special place. One of the best places we have stayed in. The hotel has been beautifully designed and ideally located to take full advantage of a breathtaking view of the harbour. The hosts are very warm and helpful.

Dina and Apostolis were wonderful hosts and every day started with a sumptuous breakfast made up local honies, eggs, cheeses and breads, much of it from Dina's own farm. The rooms have magnificent views of Moudros Harbour and rooms are spacious and comfortably appointed. The island is the site of one of Europe's first cities and together with it's 1915 ANZAC history, is well worth a visit and Hotel Ethaleia definitely the place to stay. The island also has a fabulous little sponge fishing museum that provides a unique snap shot of the people and history of the Agean.

I was perfectly happy with this hotel! The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The view was marvelous, over the bay of Moudros. The living/breakfast room area was cosy and made you feel at home and welcome. As did the hostess, by the way, who is a very interesting person to talk to :)
