New to the UK market, this Hotel is away from the overtly tourist areas, quiet but in touch with the proper Cretan way of life and a couple of lovely, interesting towns nearby. Mainly Germans and Swiss people go as the advertising is only hitting the UK in the last couple of years, but we didn't care what nationality were there and we met some lovely people and made friends so easily. There is a small chapel built on the top floor where you can pray or reflect on things with the stars shining down on you. Was sad to leave.

Room Tip: We had a sea view which was gorgeous BUT beware, it is hot all the time as South facing so you'l...

Palm Beach Hotel is in the southern part of Crete where it's nice and quiet. The surrounding town is very authentic and relaxing. We enjoyed a wonderful couple weeks relaxing under the cool palms and swimming in the ocean. The staff was very friendly, the food cooked with love and authenticity and the day trips were fun and informative. If you want a hotel that is not touristy on Crete, the Palm Beach Hotel is great!
