“Great place to stay in a lovely village”
Reviewed 19 September 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Heptonstall is the closest to an Italian hill-top village in England (sometimes even with Italian-like weather).
We stayed at The Barn for two nights in July 2016 when visiting nearby relatives. The newly-converted barn was comfortable, attractive and well-equipped. It was lovely to be in the centre of Heptonstall and to just walk from the front door to the village and on to many great walking paths.

“Gorgeous cosy home from home - we loved this place”
Reviewed 3 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a great stay in the Barn and will be back. We arrived to delicious freshly made bread and supplies and a very friendly welcome despite us running very late. Having been recently renovated, the space is used really well with a gorgeous kitchen and a bathroom that's flooded with light.

Being from the area originally, I can't think of a better spot to be in. Right in the centre of Heptonstall with all it's character but with parking which is unusual! Two good pubs around the corner, right on the track down to hardcastle Craggs for great walls and hill and trail runs, and just up the hill from Hebden.

We really appreciated the fact they had put a travel cot in especially for our little one as well.

“You won't be disappointed”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a lovely break here at the start of August with the children (8,4,1yrs). The cottage is absolutely beautiful converted to a really high spec, beautiful floors and beams. Loved the log burner and we were met with milk in the fridge and a fresh baked loaf on the counter! The owners are really helpful and the village has a little shop/post office and playground for the children. There was also a travel cot available which was really handy. Plus lots of rural paths and places to walk the dog straight from the barn. Would highly recommend and definitely return!

“Lovely barn conversion in picture perfect surroundings”
Reviewed 2 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My husband, inlaws and myself stayed here for a weekend break and couldn't have been happier. The barn conversion has been carried out to a really high standard and everything has been thought about to make a stay here comfortable and enjoyable. Heptonstall the village is an amazing time capsule and generally the only way to visit is to walk or bus from Hebden Bridge as there is very little parking so it's a real treat to find somewhere to actually stay in Heptonstall that also has parking! The owners were really welcoming and had put together a comprehensive information pack of local attractions as well as clear instructions on all of the facilities in the barn (cooker, underfloor heating!! etc). Can't recommend staying here enough!

“Perfect holiday getaway”
Reviewed 29 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

My husband, 8 year old daughter and I have just spent 5 nights at the barn at Whitehall Fold and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were bowled away by the location, which is in a quiet yet lively and picturesque village with plenty of natural beauty all around. Our hosts Nic and Steve were wonderful and full of great local knowledge and at the ready with advice, maps and pamphlets of the area. The barn itself was outstandingly decorated and furnished; we all had a very comfortable sleep and this was the most enjoyable stay of our 5-week-long tour of Britain. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and very modern, and the barn has been impressively designed and renovated to retain its history and charm. We are seriously thinking about booking next year's holiday here again, we loved it so much!

“Met by the smell of freshly baked bread”
Reviewed 25 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I needed additional accommodation for a large family gathering, so booked my mother and sister in-law into the Barn. The parking was great as mum is 82, my sister in law was so surprised and pleased to find a freshly baked loaf of bread on the side when they arrived! Yum yum, we soon scoffed that! Thank you Nic and Steve Corrigan what a lovely well furnished holiday let.
