My wife and I stayed at Fieldways for five nights, and we must say that we couldn't ask for better. It truely boosted up our sightseeing tour in Cotswolds. On the first day Alan welcomed us warmly with a pot of hot tea,and kindly introduced him self and escorted us to the lovely Honey Room. He then reserved dinner fir us at the local pub. On each morning we had a lovely English breakfast, with the eggs of our choice. After breakfast, Alan used to draw a map of the area and recommended all the towns and places we should visit.Needless to say that thank's to him we got to experience the true beauty of the area.
Alan and Pauline's hospitality and welcoming was to a level that we actualy felt at home away from home. I don't know how else to describe it with words. I can just say that we enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend the place

My fiance and I stayed at Fieldways for 1 night on the 7th March and to say that we blown away by the quality, location and hospitality is a massive under statement.
Polly and Alan truly deserve an award for being the ultimate hosts and for running the most magnificent B&B in the world.
My fiance and I have stayed in countless B&B's and we both walked away concluding that Fieldways is by far the best.
Our room (The Green Room) was so big and so comfortable. Every little detail was of highest quality and standard, the king bed was firm and ultra-comfortable, the gorgeous ensuite bath room even came with bath salts and oils so we could relax in the bath while drinking of complimentary glass of sherry!
'Fieldways' is truly the perfect name for this location as this beautiful country house boasts panoramic and breath-taking views of the country-side in every direction. There are benches and seats in the garden where you can sit and watch the sun set/rise and soak in the beauty of the area.
It's walking distance from a perfect little pub called the Plough Inn, where we had a glorious dinner.
Alan's breakfast in the morning was just fantastic!
All in all, we did not want to leave and we felt so welcomed, comfortable and pampered thank to both Polly and Alan's hospitality and warm nature.
We would recommend this B&B to the queen if she asked.
:)

We stayed two days over Christmas. It was freezing the night we arrived and we were greeted with red wine, hot snacks, fruit and a cozy fire place. We found sherry compliments of the house left for us in our room, which was spotlessly clean and warm. Polly brought fresh milk up to us immediately so we could make tea before heading out for dinner, while Alan called down to the local pub for us to check whether it was open. The next day having already enquired with us our breakfast preferences, we started the day with a hearty English breakfast, following which Alan wrote out and went through with us a suggested itinerary which we greatly appreciated having not had much time to plan ourselves. We were urged to take their umbrellas and rain macs as went on our way in the morning. Arriving back the same evening after a whole day exploring the Cotswolds, we were plied with yet more wine and snacks and we happily stayed to chat as they were great company and also seemed to genuinely enjoy having us stay. We felt like we were staying with friends, no effort was spared on our part. I am horrified to say that we spilt red wine on their oat-coloured carpet the first night. This was brushed off immediately and good humouredly and the next day when we came back the stain was gone! High recommended. We also definitely want to go back ourselves.

This is by far the best bed and breakfast we have stayed in. The hosts were charming and the room and en-suite fantastic. I dont't think a five star hotel would be better. We stayed back in the summer of 2013 with our little dog zak. Alan Graham the host also cooked a delicious breakfast would definetely stay again
