This is massive bit of advertising outside Carl's Bakery it's a giant chicken in a top hat. If you are into odd little tourist trap kind of sights then this is one. I'm not sure if there is any real reason to go see it it's kind of silly. However the Bakery is good so if you want to see the chicken don't plan a trip just for it. Plan to get snacks at the bakery and see the chicken just because it's in the parking lot.

We were curious to see what all the fuss was about concerning your rooster in a top hat. I really like funny Americana things and although it was interesting to see it was not exactly what I was expecting. Things of this nature built for a specific type of taste it was cool to see but not for me.

Outside of Carl's Bakery in E. Peoria is a large statue of a Rooster in formal attire. It is adorned with Christmas lights during the holidays. You have to be on the lookout for it or you will drive right past it. Just an interesting "what was that?" type of thing.

Two families traveling together each with their respective RVs, looking for interesting AMERICANA items along our route to Yellowstone National Park just barely found the ROOSTER IN A TOP HAT!

Unique but smaller than we expected.

Be careful of the traffic around this site - very busy!

Worth the stop? Well, we have seen it, taken the obligatory photos, and do NOT need to return!

We all enjoyed the hunt! Being the first one in our party to spot it earned them "CROWING RIGHTS"!
