As the title suggests this is your typical cafe offering the usual drinks and a wide selection of breakfasts and dinners, the atmosphere is what you would expect from a family run place which also does a good trade with the families staying at the holiday park accross the road...the staff were friendly but if you want something more refined then you'll have to drive to one of the neighbouring towns

We thought that it was nice to have a cafe near to our holiday house rental - a pleasant stroll down to the waterfront, so we decided to have our evening meal there on the Sunday evening.
On arrival at 5 o'clock the two ladies (one of them I took to be the owner) who ran the place were eating a dinner and we were asked to wait whilst they ate. The first though is, why if there were two of them, did they need to take the same time out? However we thought that it was no quicker to go to another venue than wait. So we waited whilst the ladies took their time over the dinner. Eventually one of them finished, but instead of coming over to take our order, she leaned on the counter and called across the restaurant for our order. At this point I would have walked out at this rudeness but my wife was hungry so we continued.
My wife had the Sunday roast which she said was ok. I ordered ham, egg and chips - this was less than satisfactory for the price. Two slices of processed cold ham sitting on some pretty inappropriate lettuce with egg and some chips - not especially appetising.
Just before placing the order, a family who seemed to be related to the owner, arrived complete with a very noise little girl who did nothing but complain loudly if she didn't get her own way - which seemed to be most of the time.
Needless to say we never visited again - perhaps we just pick a bad time - maybe not.
