Absolutely amazing hotel with great staff. Looking forward to a return visit real soon. Amazing rooms great value for money with amazing food. Highly recommended. the staff definitely went the extra mile when we stayed. A big thanks to Jackie who saved us from a night in the car after our original hotel got flooded out. ;-)

Room Tip: perfect all round.

Spent the night there over the weekend. The experience was great from the check in to the breakfast and the £99 Sunday special was great value. Our room was lovely and the very helpful receptionist-Lindsey- upgraded us to a sea facing room. We spent the late afternoon watching the sea and the gathering storm. The dinner food was super and all the staff were helpful. Thanks to Tammy for remaking our room to a twin so quickly and with a ready smile. There was one of the best hotel showers we have ever had and the towels were super soft and plentiful. Breakfast was also good even though they had run out of eggs due to the weather. We look forward to returning soon.

Room Tip: 118 had a great view and was most comfortable

Following a farewell to a dear friend, I joined family members in afternoon tea in a beautiful room overlooking the estuary. The food was magnificent and by far the most spectacular afternoon tea I have had (and I have had many!!) Sandwiches included: Roast beef with horseradish, Egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon. Delicious scones, and the most delicious cream pasties and fruit tartlets I have ever seen. This hotel is superior to the most prestigious London hotels! P.S. The waiter Jonathan, was very attentive but not intrusive, well done Jonathan!

Stayed for just one night mid week. Couldn't fault anything.

Staff - very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault the customer service and friendliness of all staff, especially reception and bar staff.

Restaurant - Fantastic food and quite extensive menu to chose from. Fabulous location at the front of the hotel overlooking the estuary.

Bedrooms - Very good size, in older part of the hotel, with great view of the front. Extremely clean both bedroom and shower. Fantastic power shower and Elemis toiletries provided.

Just wish I could have stayed longer! Would love to return soon.

Room Tip: Sea front views very good.

We arrived and the staff could not be more helpful in fact this was characterised throughout the stay by all the staff.
our room was an executive with sea views, for an executive room it was slightly on the small side, however well furnished clean and a comfortable bed.
Food was excellent and the wedding breakfast of chicken stuffed with fish crab and sea food risotto exquisite.
The views of the estuary were lovely, all in all a fantastic two days enjoyed by all and made that much more memorable by a well run and attentive hotel.

Room Tip: All guests enjoyed a good quality of room, I feel the best value is to stay in the main part of the...

Went here with older family group of hens for meal.
Food was lovely, well cooked and fresh.
Prices a bit on the high side especially when you had to pay extra (average £2.50) for one portion of a vegetable.
Service was fairly quick considering this was a Saturday night and the place was packed.
Would return - but need to save up first as only complaint was the slightly higher prices in comparision to a restaurant of a similar standard..
I expect the reason for this was because this is a hotel restaurant.
Would return, but need to save up first.

Room Tip: Did not stay in hotel

The double room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the usual facilities with room enough for a small table and chairs in front of the window with sea views. Exceptionally good double glazing meant we did not hear any traffic from the main road outside. The only downsides were:
Buffet style breakfast, which does not work too well for cooked food, it tended not to be hot enough, although plentiful. The space in the car park is limited for such a large hotel/restaurant.
