Description: The philosophy of the menu at Bistro Bordeaux is an expression of our French culinary heritage, for which we have a profound admiration. The support of our local farmers allows us to use the freshest produce and seafood, just as one would find in the markets in the south of France. The menu showcases the freshness of these pure ingredients through simple, flavorful combinations

Love, love, love this charming little place. The atmosphere reminds me of the lovely bistros scattered throughout Paris. French-style decor, (obviously) French menu and very friendly (sometimes French) staff. I went there for dinner a year ago so I can't remember the details of that meal but remember loving it. I came back last weekend for Mother's Day brunch and to my surprise they had an American brunch menu (eggs benedict, french toast, eggs & bacon etc) with some french appetizers and desserts. Everything was terrific: beautiful presentation, delicious and unique. Instead of a bread basket, they brought us warm french bagguettes in a paper bag as if just purchased from a bakery. Throughout brunch, a musician walked around the restaurant playing the accordion. Our waiter was nice and attentive. We finished the meal with a creme brulee and they brought my mother an envelope with a $20 gift certificate for next time. It was perfect.

We dine here often. The food is comparable to some of the best Bistro's in Paris. I enjoy the Fois Gras and the duck. My wife usually has the french onion tartine and chicken. Their wine list is also excellent and the servers have always been attentive and knowlwdgable.

Bistro Bordeaux is one of our "go to" spots when we want a nice restaurant but not over-the-top formal or fussy. The appetizers of fois gras, steak tartare and salad are always delicious. We've tried a variety of main courses including salmon, steak, veal and vegetarian and we're always pleased. Nice wine and bar list which is appropriately priced for this type of restaurant. Our servers have always been attentive and knowledgeable. During our last visit, we arrived at 630p with another couple and weren't hurried or rushed along before we were ready to leave 3 hours later. Definitely recommended!
