“Worth the wait”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 November 2013

We had reservations and our table was ready and waiting - always a good sign. Unfortunately it took almost 15 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us. Service was very, very slow. We were with friends so it was okay, but after it took forever for our drinks to arrive, I made everyone order while she was still there, lest she disappear again. The rest of the wait staff was very attentive - our water glasses were always filled and the dishes cleared.
The food was excellent. They offer a nice selection of small plates, salads and main dishes. It would be easy to make a meal just on small plates. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, although it did get a little loud. The tables are spacious and nicely spread apart.
I would definitely eat here again and just arrive with more patience in case slow service is the norm and not just an anomaly.

“A gem, creative and delicious dishes.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 October 2013 via mobile

Our first visit and we plan to come back again. The Amazonian fish Paiche on spinach and sweet potato hash was outstanding; thanks to Anna for speaking so highly about this special dish. Others in my party ordered jambalaya which was abundant in shrimp, chicken and sausage with the rice and veggies. The scallop wrapped in bacon starter was great and large enough to share. Pecan pie was a nice finish. Edgar was helpful with a take home container too.

“Always a pleasure!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 September 2013

Terra Bistro is located right in my neighborhood, so while they provide complimentary valet parking, I walk. The decor is fresh, clean and stylish. The menu is diverse with large, small, hot and cold plates. As every menu item stands out, it can be hard to select! The drink menu is inventive and fun. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you are looking for a place to dine with friends, colleagues, or romantic partners, Terra Bistro is a terrific choice!

“Terra is on Solid Ground”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2013

Terra is a relatively new restaurant on the North Shore. It is a little hard to find off Green Bay Rd but well worth the effort. The Food there is amazing and the staff are first rate. They have a very extensive wine list and I counted over 20 wines by the glass. The night we went it was packed so reservations are recommended. Our party had Foie Gras, which was better than any we have ever tasted (including Paris), Tuna tartar and Goat Cheese Croquettes to start. Simply wonderful. For our Entrees, we had Rack of Lamb, (8 Chops! to an order!!) over a cauliflower Polenta which was exquisite, a grilled swordfish which was very moist and tender, and Seared Sashimi Tuna which was fantastic.

The Service was first rate. Our server, Pam, was as professional and knowledgeable as any we have ever had. She was a pure delight! And, the bus boys were friendly and attentive without being overly so.

They are doing some wonderfully innovative things at Terra and we are definitely going to make Terra one of our regular stops. Do yourselves a favor and treat yourselves to a wonderful dining experience. If you like Fresh, locally grown ingredients prepared creatively and tasty, you will love Terra.

“Chic, but inviting atmosphere, excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2013

We were so pleasantly surprised that Terra--a little hard to spot as it sits back a bit off busy Green Bay Road--was so stylish and hip. Pay close attention to its address, the entrance does not face Green Bay Rd. The staff was so very welcoming and our waitress very attentive. The selections are extensive and varied and not only presented creatively, but generous and very tasty. We had a well drink before dinner and it was excellent. Mood lighting makes it a romantic destination for a special event.
