Finally made it to Found -- very trendy, has been difficult to get in. No wait on a Tuesday night, though. We were seated at the bar, in front of the wood-fired oven.
The hostess and server were terrific -- very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Decor is very comfortable - like an upscale coffee bar. Definitely not a fancy place.
We got 4 small plates -- these varied in size, some are enough for a small meal, some just a few tastes.
Seasoning is light -- I thought dishes were kind of bland, and that flavors didn't really meld. My wife, though, loved everything. I think the food would be better with wine, rather than cocktails. The house ginger lemonade is refreshing and very gingery, but not a great accompaniment to the food.
Perhaps the trendiest restaurant in Evanston. Decent, but not one of my favorites.
