We travelled in a party of 6 for a 45th wedding anniversary. The journey from Essex took around 2 hours 30 mins as the A12 have a number of single carriage lanes. On arrival around 1pm we were told our chalet would be ready by 2.30.There is a pub next door in which which had a very nice lunch.
The chalet we had was on the first floor overlooking a beach garden and the chalet itself was in good order.
We were very. Fortunate with our table as it was right near where the entertainment took place. The main entertainment for the weekend was The Beat Legends and they were very professional and entertaining.
As this weekend was an all inclusive weekend the drinks were free from 6 pm to 12 pm.
The one downside was that Guinness was not on the list of drinks. This was negative to us as a member of our party drinks Guinness. On talking to other guests it was a negative aspect for a number of them too.
The food was very good with a number of choices.
We found all the staff to be very polite and helpful.
Corton has had a revamp of late and it is very noticeable. The grounds were impeccably kept and maintained.
Overall a great weekend was had albeit without the Guinness!More
