We stayed one night here while in Chicago for a half-marathon race. The room itself was clean and appeared to be updated. The bed was comfortable. The hallways and elevator were more worn and dirty. The pool area and fitness room were very outdated. In fact, I would not plan on working out if you stay there. They have about 3 pieces of equipment and it is very old. Breakfast was standard. For some reason the hotel room walls seemed to let more sound through than most hotels we've stay in. We could hear conversations clearly of our neighbors. This hotel is adequate for an overnight stay.

I booked this place very quickly late one Friday night over President Day weeked. I always felt good about comfort suites . Wanted somewhere cheaper price to stay since we only had one night instead of a multi night stay. I didn't want the expense of a downtown hotel or parking cost and then the cost to park at the field museum too. The hotel was cleasn as clean could be. The pool was clean and warm water, only problen there was had to ask for towels. No ice or vending on our floor. Staff very nice and helpful Would stay her again but would try the train if staying multiple nights to compare to driving downtown, sounds as if it would be well worth it.There was a board at the desk recommending to eat at Victoria's restaurant with their menu and 10 percent off bill, so it was close and we went there! NEVER again, it was the worst meal ever! Cream soup tasted like flour and milf, fish had no taste and steak was stringy and tough. That is my only complaint. Wifi worked well too..

Room Tip: Level two, only ice machine and vending I found.

I researched the area for a weekend stay. I chose this motel based on my findings, and found the reviews to be very accurate for this Comfort Inn. I believe it is the best value in this area. The location was very convenient for travel on the CTA Blue line into Chicago. (We drove 2 miles to the CTA lot at Rosemont from this motel and paid a small fee to park and take the train into the museums downtown. Parking downtown is very expensive, and a hassle to do. I highly suggest taking the train to save money and time.) This motel is a bit noisy due to its proximity to the street, but not annoyingly so. The breakfast is typical for Choice Hotels. They had waffles, along with eggs and biscuits and gravy for the hot items. The staff was extremely friendly which was is always refreshing! The pool and hot tub were very clean also. Our room was clean and didn't look aged, and everything worked properly. We used points to stay and didn't get put next to an elevator, ice machine, or the laundry! The closest restaurant is a couple blocks away, so it may not be the best choice if you have flown in and want something right next door. Wifi worked correctly too. All things considered, I found it to be a very nice stay. I would go back to this motel when in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for an even numbered room which will face away from the street if you want a quieter room !

We have stayed at this hotel every year for about the past five years. We started staying here to drive up to the O'Hare airport for our winter getaway versus leaving in the wee hours of the morning as we have a three hour drive to Chicago. We like to get to the hotel just at check in time. Get our room and get settled and then head down to the Bella Vista Lounge for a few drinks before we order supper to take back to our room. They have a nice lounge where you can eat a very fancy meal but we always opt for the pizza or shrimp and fries and head back to the room to unwind before we have to get up in the early morning to get to the airport. Which is a breeze. We do the park and fly option. Which means we can leave our vehicle in the hotel parking lot the whole time we are on vacation and get it when we come back. They actually have a shuttle that leaves the hotel about every twenty minutes. And then pick up when we arrive back in Chicago is just as easy. This is a clean hotel with a very friendly staff. Those of you who are picky may feel it is a little outdated with a musty smell but for simple people like us it is perfect. Stay here if you are in Chicago and need to do the park and fly - YOU CANNOT BEAT THE VALUE OR PRICE!
I cannot really comment on the pool or other services as we are there for such a short time. Another nice thing is that if you are too tired, arrive too late from the airport, or the weather is too bad to drive home you can usually get a room the day/night you arrive back to Chicago and stay until the morning.

Room Tip: Talk to the bartenders at the lounge. It is such a relaxing atmosphere
