This wonderful venue is vibrant, dynamic and a wonderful place to spend an hour or two enjoying an exhibition, lovely food and drink. The new deck and restaurant refurb work well and have improved a great place even more.

A beautiful location and lovely weather. The food was cafe style but tasty. Desserts looked great. A nice way to spend a Sunday.

A pleasant place to visit and eat outside on a nice sunny day with lovely garden views. The food was very good, and it was lovely sitting outside and enjoying the garden views while we ate our lunch.

I went to Hazelhurst the other day with some friends. I ordered the scones with earl grey tea. When the tea arrived I was pretty appalled to see that it was very obviously the second brewing of the tea leaves in the pot and I requested another. Thankfully, this time it was made properly. When my scones arrived one was fine but the other one was rock hard. When the waitress was advised of this she just said “Well, you ate the other one” and nothing more was done. My friend’s coffee had been spilled all down the sides of his cup and instead of a fresh cup all he got from the waitress was a brief, “Sorry, I spilled it”.

I understand that accidents happen (at least I like to think that re-using tea leaves was an accident and not a regular thing!) but it helps if the staff are friendly about it and make some kind of attempt to fix a problem.

The other meals were nice enough, but the overall poor experience left me uninterested in returning.

Hazelhurst has always been a nice place to see an art show and eat. They now have a new art director who is encouraging a lot of local art talent and Sunday afternoons are buzzing. Great place to but a cool T Shirt and eat a meal, chill out in the courtyard.
