“Your corner bakery”

Not much new here. It is incredibly busy on the weekends (very hard to find a seat) given that it is in Geneva Commons.

We love the food here. Soups and sandwichs are delicous. The bakery items are soooo good. Our favorite is the cinnemon cream coffee cake. I always buy one to serve at our holiday gatherings. especially when we have a brunch, We all loves this coffee cske.

“Great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2012

I love this place mostly for the bakery but this time I tried the breakfast croissant. The eggs were cooked perfect and I really enjoyed it. The bakery is wonderful and the place is clean. My friends also ordered breakfast and we all agreed it was very good!

“The Best of the Sandwich Shops”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2010

We prefer Corner Bakery over their direct competitor's. The food seems more fresh including the breads, meats, vegetables and salads. Obviously, they specialize in sandwiches and soups. If you like sweets they also have a lot to offer. The atmosphere is nice and it's noisy when crowded. Decent food at a decent price.

“The Corner Bakery chain in Geneva, IL is better than in Chicago dtown.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 December 2008

The Corner Bakery is a chain of eateries with a lovely décor, wonderful baked items, and scrumptious sandwiches and soups. I have been to several, and although some are small and cramped (I am thinking of the one on Wacker and Michigan Avenue are in Chicago), the one in Geneva on Randall Road is super large and comfortable. It features many booths and tables, and although it gets slimed with Geneva Commons shoppers, there seems to always be a place to sit (finding a place to park, however, can be more challenging). I enjoyed a unique pretzel bread ham sandwich with homemade chicken noodle soup today. The bred is thin, and lightly salted, and is great for those of us that despise a thick bready sandwich. The soups are always hot, and the fresh entrees are brought out to your table quickly. We are all familiar with Panera and Atlanta Bread Company, but generally those places are small, have loads of people usurping tables to sip coffee and play wi-fi games, and reek of java. The Corner Bakery is, conversely, bright, airy, high-ceilinged and has only the smell of fresh breads. Also try the fruit cup, and if you are wicked hungry, they make a mean crunchy banana and strawberry oatmeal. Bon appétit!
