Owner description: Locally owned and operated, The Little Traveler is a Geneva Landmark. A SIMPLE IDEA THAT EVOLVED INTO A ONE-OF-A-KIND EXPERIENCE Downtown Geneva is still known as one of the most unique shopping districts in the Midwest, maintaining a tradition of hospitality, charm, and character. This area is now one of the prettiest streets in Geneva. The Little Traveler has remained the cornerstone of this tradition. The shop has grown considerably since the original Italianate Victorian residence (which now serves as the center section of the shop) to thirty-six rooms of treasures. You’ll be greeted by a caring staff and amazed by the never-ending array of items brought back by our modern day little travelers.

the Little Traveler is a large white building, but on the inside it is many many different stores flowing together. from toys to fancy crystal, from candy to vera bradley purses, there is something for everyone, and much of it unique. if you visit on Saturday, they often have many interesting samples to try.

A unique store with one of a kind items. Great place for lunch. Antiques, best children's clothing anywhere, jewelry and 4 rooms open all year round with Christmas items. Great gourmet cooking section as well. If you are near Geneva you have to visit.

The Little Traveler is the venerable and incredibly popular anchor to Geneva. Illinois' unique street of beautiful, historic homes that have become shops that you will not find anywhere else in America, It has a wider and more eclectic collection of items of all descriptions than any store that I have ever visited. These are generally very high end things that you simply won't find anywhere else. If you want to shop anywhere in the Mid-West the Traveler must not be missed.

I live in Geneva. Great shop with endless rooms filled with everything from Christmas decorations to food. A lot of interesting and unique items. A great place to find something unusual. Close to the Metra train station and all of the other shops and restaurants on 3rd street.

Quite an adventure shopping at the Little Traveler. We've lived in Geneva for forty-eight years and it never "gets old". Not an ideal place to push strollers or take small children, but a wonderful shopping experience. Lunch is a always a treat and you may even be treated to a style show while you eat.
