I surprised my wife for her birthday with a trip here.
I spoke with several people over the phone, but Mackenzie is the one who was most helpful for the entire experience.
They reserved a quaint table for us and the place wasn't too crowded when we went, around 12:15. They knew our names right away and had us sit down after we stood in awe over all the chocolate creations. Our seats were right under an article about the chef and his wife and how they met. It was a great start for us because, in a small way, it made us feel closer to them (they have a great story!).
Mackenzie came over with the siphon coffee, which looked so cool. She explained the process and then shared with us that this was the first time they were serving it on this French silver the chef had found. It made for an excellent presentation with what was delicious coffee. It truly is a great mix between a French press and a Chemex or pour-over.
They then brought out the fondue. Along with it was a special request I made: a "plaque" of Ariel, my wife's favorite Disney character, painted by Esther, chef's wife! The fondue was delicious. I killed my bowl of creamy chocolate with my finger, making sure not to leave any straggling behind. It was meant for my belly.
And of course, when my wife saw Ariel, she teared-up. That ensured great success for me and All Chocolate Kitchen. It was a great first time and I plan on going back and telling the world about it!
