We met friends here for dinner. The decor is roughly 1980's with white metal chairs, etc. The food - outstanding.
I was a huge fan of the creamy garlic salad dressing. Good manners are the only thing that saved me from licking the plate. It's that good.
The meat lasagna was a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. Spinach lasagna received the same rave from one of our dining companions.
Tiramisu was okay. Not the best, but palatable.
Prices are very fair, given the sizes of the meals and the quality.
Would definitely recommend for a casual night out.

Tasty food slightly above average. But service is slow so dinner drags on and on. This place has the slowest kitchen in the area.

We have been to That Pasta Place many times and have never been disappointed. We love the small intimate atmosphere. They usually have a specials menu with items like specialty ravioli (pumpkin or asparagus). The pasta for the most part appears to be handmade and not box pasta, which you can't seem to find at many places most use boxed. The prices are reasonable and the portion size is just right. If you live in the area you can usually find a coupon in the mail.

First time visit, to celebrate Valentine's. Had heard from friends that this was a nice restaurant with good Italian food, so we decided to try it out.

When we arrived, it took a very long time to get seated. We were greeted, but waited quite a while (we were the only people in line, waiting to be seated). It took so long that I started to think perhaps we were supposed to seat ourselves. We should have walked out then. As we were seated, we noticed the restaurant was only about 70% full; there were tables were available. Waitstaff seemed plentiful, so I don't think it was a staffing issue. 30 minutes after we had entered, our order was taken. We had an appetizer, salad and the entree. We finally received our entree 90 minutes after we had arrived. The food was delicious. The appetizer was unique and very tasty. The entrees (I had the meatball sandwich, my guest had cheese ravioli with alfredo sauce) were delicious, very fresh, and very well made. Overall, the food was awesome Italian fare, and it was the best part.

But, we were walking out the door exactly 2 hours after we had entered (arrived at 6:30 PM, left at 8:30 PM). This was a 3 course meal, no dessert. We did get apologies a few times from the staff for the delay, but no explanation. We had no idea why this happened. Again, the restaurant never seemed filled, but we just saw a lot of tables filled with patrons waiting for service. We never did understand why there was such a long delay.

If food is the highest priority, please try this. It really is delicious. The servers themselves were really very friendly, charming and helpful. However, the wait was beyond too long for us. We are local (about 4 miles away), but we won't be back. I can't justify the wait. I would recommend waiting until you start seeing a series of reviews from guests commenting that the service has tightened up and has become faster before trying this.
