“Meat Lover's Paradise ”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

A true meat lover's paradise! We were greeted by friendly staff who were chatty and provided excellent service to help me and my girlfriend pick the best choices from a reasonable selection of meaty dishes.

Meat was perfectly cooked (went for the meat trio main to share; chicken was moist and flavoursome, steak tender and juicy - asked for rare) and the portions are more than generous!

Would happily go again,... And probably will before our stay in soller is over!

“tasty and casual grill, great steaks”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

we visited el teatro last week after reading recommendations on tripadvisor and really enjoyed ourselves.

we would like to emphasise that it's casual and relaxed grill, which wasn't what we expected, but although it looks a little rough round the edges, the steaks were delicious and the service was friendly.

ask for medium cooked unless you like your steak blue, which is the norm for spain.

“Promises much but delivers little”
Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

We had read the other reviews and headed to El Teatro Latino with great expectations. Unfortunately, we felt totally let down.

We shared the yuca baskets with minced beef as a starter which were OK. I ordered a steak (medium) and my wife ordered chicken skewers with a peanut sauce for the main course. We waited over an hour to be served and, when the main course arrived, a good vet could have revived my steak and the kebabs had been nowhere near a peanut!

Really disappointing. There are plenty of better restaurants in the Port. Try Randemar or the bistro at Hotel Esplendido; both are head and shoulders above this.
