My partner and I stayed here for two nights when attending a wedding down the road and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. This little B&B was beautiful. The outside gardens were stunningly manicured and obviously loved very much. Our room was clean, cheerful and provided us with every luxury we could have asked for, including stunning views. Liz and John were the kindest and most friendly hosts we could have imagined and their hospitality was second to none - they were helpful, courteous and cooked fantastic breakfasts! The cottage itself, and the surrounding area is the stuff of postcards. If you get a chance - go here! It's beautiful.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Ivy Cottage and were simply blown away by the hospitality of Liz and John. We chose this cottage as it's perfectly located for visiting the Eden Project and ideal for getting around the local towns. But what really made our trip memorable was meeting Liz and John and being able to stay in such a lovely well presented cottage. The breakfasts were brilliant and the garden is beautiful to sit in. The room had a lovely view and was extremely comfortable. If we ever visit the area again we will definitely be staying in Ivy Cottage!!!

It would be nigh on impossible to find such a well presented bed and breakfast with such fantastic and a genuinely warm welcome as this. And all for an amazing price. This is a MUST for anyone visiting this area.

Liz and John Edwards are very experienced hosts. This means that you can be assured of dozens of thoughtful little extra touches during your stay - making it extra special. From the daily 'Weather Board' at breakfast - giving you the heads-up on what to expect, to the detailed breakfast menu, to other kindnesses which I shall not spoil by telling you about. We went down specifically for me to professionally photograph the Eden Project. Folks, this is the perfect location for accessing Eden - it's 1.5 miles away and easy to find. A good day's photography was only made better by being assured that comfortable, clean accommodation was awaiting us - and all wrapped up in a warm welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful and the gardens superb. It is set near the Luxulyan valley - itself an area of outstanding natural beauty. Do take time out to visit Charlestown Harbour too - excellent.

The cottage has been senstively extended with a clear attention to detail. The room we stayed was bright and airy with numerous large windows with dual aspect providing panoramic views over the valley. The room was immaculate and faultlessly clean. The extension to the cottage fits seemlessly with the original building (its so cute it looks lke its right of the front of a christmas card), but inside the rooms are contemporary, spacious and comfortable. The village is quiet but friendly, but within a few minutes drive of the main roads through Cornwall. Beautiful walks are on your doorstep, past the church, down to the pub and around the nearby aquaduct. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. They had thought of everything, even making a reservation for us at the local pub before we arrived to make sure we didnt miss out due to its popularity on a saturday night! The breakfast was beautiful with a wide range of options. Could not recommend this B and B more highly. It was perfect!
