“Overnight in the out skirts of Chicago”

We got two rooms here on our way to downtown Chicago. The price was right and it is right off the interstate. The help at the front desk were nice with complimentary coffee. The bathroom was clean. The rest of the room was pretty clean but not prefect. One of our rooms smelled of smoke although they were both marked as non smoking. If you are sensitive to smoke check your room before you except it.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We were very pleased to hear that the front desk was helpful and that the room was clean. However, we were disappoint that our non-smoking room smelled of smoke.
I have shared your comments with our entire staff and explained the importance of making sure all rooms are smoke free. We want you are loyal guest to be confident that when you stay with us that you are getting a 100% smoke free room and that the product that we are marketing is what we are offering our valued guest.

We checked in the hotel during a very busy time, darlene was great along with it being jolisa 2nd day. the rooms are nice for the price and it was very nice to have a front desk staff that took the time and gave us directions andinformed us about the free internet kudos to darlene as she was training and still had a smile

I did not have a good experience here. When we got to the room the carpet was very wet, as it had just been cleaned. We asked for another room but were told that the motel was full. Of more concern to me was that our bathroom was not clean. I will not go into detail. We asked for it to be cleaned while we were out to dinner. When we got back the bathroom had been worked on, but it still was not clean. We were planning to stay here two nights, but we checked out after one. We were given a coupon for a free night in another Red Roof Inn, but I would not return to this one.

Thank you for taking the time to fill our a review. I am extremely sorry that the carpet was damp when you checked into your room and that we did not have another room to relocate you to. I cannot began to imagine how frustrated you might have become when returning from dinner and your bathroom had not been cleaned.

I can assure you this is an isolated incident as our team works extremely hard to ensure that our valued guest are satisfied with there stay. We found the Hotel night hostess to be very accommodating and knowledgable about the hotel. She was very pleasant and helpful to us giving a choice of what kind of room we rented and tell us that pets were ok., considering how late we arrived.

I had just been down for work a month before my current booking and stayed at the same place. The rooms aren't anything to write home about but definitely are clean. Front desk staff was very helpful especially this time around. Had problems booking through the hotline number the first time (nonexistent fridge and micro that was promised) so went straight to front desk this time and Russ found me a good room for a price better than the online one. Definitely would come back.

Room Tip: Rooms in the rear building were being renovated in 03/2013 but probably most are done by now. Unless...

The service was really good. Darlene was very helpful in getting us checked in the room was clean,some noise from the oter rooms and out on the balcony could be heard alot of the nite it seemed like. there was also some cigarette smell.

I stayed at the hotel one night during a business trip. The room was clean with a flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. The room was warm when I arrived and the staff was very friendly. There were several fast food places nearby but I didn't see any for a sit down dinner. I had no issues with the room or serivce and would stay there again if I was in the area.

Our team works extremely hard to make this location a great place to stay for you our valued guest and we enjoy hearing when we have accomplished that. In your review you mentioned not being able to locate a sit down restaurant. One of our very friendly and efficient guest service representatives would have been more than happy to accomodate you with your request. We have Bob Evans located next door to the hotel and if you go east on Larkin there are several dine in eateries within a 4 mile radius.
