The mexican food was bland and disappointing. The margaritas, however, were awesome but outrageously expensive. I have to say the service was spectacular. Unfortunately, overpriced alcohol and good service aren't enough to bring me back for more.

Santiago's has all of the time tested Mexican favorites but also adds a few specials every so often to change it up a bit. We had the lobster tostada that was delightful. The staff are attentive and you never feel rushed. The only complaint would be that the tasty margarita's are served in a somewhat small glass. Maybe they need to introduce a double.

Highly recommended.

After many trips to Pilsen and Cicero for authentic Mexican cuisine we are used to some what spicy and/or seasoned food. Both the fajitas and the chimichangas were either very slighted seasoned or not seasoned at all. The Salsa was also bland.
This place always seems to be busy all the time and receives good ratings from the locals. Not sure if this was just a fluke or whether thier recipes are purposely this way.

The food here was very disapointing. The chicken enchiladas tasted like they came out of a can.
