Everything good you've read about the arboretum is true. A wonderful children's area where exploring, climbing and splashing are encouraged.
If you're up for some cardio, a hike around the outer loops of the East side are roughly 6 miles (but shortcuts are an option) and 25 stories of beautiful nature. The West side Daffodil Glade is currently in full bloom so get there quick if you can. The West side outer loop is roughly 3 miles of trails.
The Visitors Center has a great restaurant. Flavorful food with more than your run-of-the-mill burgers and fried foods.
