We stayed here recently with our wedding party. The hotel staff was excellent and they dealt with a multitude of guest and wedding related requests efficiently. The rooms were very nice and the atmosphere relaxed. We ate in the restaurant several times and used the swimming pool and hot tub. All areas were very clean and well-organized.
We would recommend this place highly. It is a little west of Chicago and Downer's Grove and it was perfect for our needs.

I stayed at Hyatt Lisle during my business trip. The hotel is very good, the room was very spacious and nice. The staff is simply great! We arrived quite late at night, when the restaurant was closed, but we still were served dinner! I think that it would be good to do some renovation in the gym and swimming pool area, especially the swimming pool, as it smelled chlorine. As I still didn't have time for gym, it didn't bother me much. Staff at the reception is really helpful.

The rooms were not as nice as the pictures online. I was rather surprised. In the room with 2 beds, they have the beds with one side up against the wall. One against the wall of the window, and one against the wall of the bathroom. I was staying there on Polar Vortex Monday, and there was a terrible draft coming in through the window. One would not have been able to sleep in the bed next to the window. I also had to switch rooms because the heater was not working. It also took 15 minutes to get the water "warm." Not even hot for a shower. I ended up switching hotels. If you stay there, ask for a room that does not face the freeway. Otherwise, it is noisy.

I spend several week a year here, it is always a pleasure, great services, nice view if you choose a room on th egood side of the hotel.
Very nice breackfast buffet, very nice bar tender a lot of choice at the bar !

For New Years Eve, my boyfriend and I decided to make a reservation at the hotel restaurant - the Chatfield. We were greeted by the lovely host and the server was as nice as can be, but the real problem was the food. Before making the reservation, I looked at the menu online to make sure there was something each of us would enjoy. Once we got to the restaurant, the menu was completely different from what we had read online. We started off with the calamari, which was good, but the main entrees were unsatisfactory. I had the chicken carbonara, which I thought would be appetizing, but the chicken was way too salty and the pasta did not seem fresh. Not only did it not taste good, but it was overpriced at $19. I did not eat much of the entree and left feeling hungry at the end of the dinner. My boyfriend could not find anything appetizing, so he decided on the burger - which was moderate at best. It was overpriced as well at $15. There was not much of a variety on this menu and we were very disappointed. Overall, I will not choose to dine here again.

Stayed there New Year's Eve. Hotel was full as there were many New Year's Eve parties going on but the staff was still very quick, polite and attentive. It was snowing out (typical for Chicago, lol) and the sidewalk out front, where passengers disembark from their cars, was snow covered and VERY slippery! Both my husband and myself almost landed on our bottoms! It had been shoveled at some point but there was no one working to keep it clear (even though it was under a parking overhang) and no de-icer was put down. Quite dangerous! Same situation the following morning. Sidewalks and parking lot VERY slippery and not plowed/shoveled.
We had a room with one king bed and it was quite nice, with a separate sitting area. The room was a bit on the small side, compared to other Hyatts we have stayed at, but they made good use of the space they had. The housecleaning staff needed to up their game a bit though. When we arrived one of the drawers had a bunch of stuff in it from the last occupant, and the garbage can in the bathroom (in the cupboard for some reason?) still had trash in it.
Lobby is very nice with lots of chair/couches to lounge in. Huge Christmas tree was beautiful and added an elegant, seasonal touch. Fountain provided background noise to make conversations in the sitting area private. They had a bar and restaurant, which we did not visit, as the prices were typical hotel, ie insanely high, prices.
There was also a pool, jacuzzi, and fitness room which we also didn't use but looked nice.
I see some of the comments mention it is near the Interstate but we did not have any problems with noise.

We stayed at the Hyatt Lisle for 2 nights over Thanksgiving. The lobby was nice but the minute we walked into our room I was appalled to see that the 2 "double" beds were actually somewhat roomy single beds that would clearly not be large enough to sleep 2 people. It looked like a college dorm room. When I called down to complain I was told that there were "Hyatt Grand" double beds. Clearly, I was supposed to understand that unlike normal double beds which comfortably sleep 2 people, Hyatt Grand double beds are small, subpar and only sleep two people who are pressed together like sardines and cannot move all night. Even the pillows are smaller than normal, probably because they hope people won't notice how narrow the bed is with smaller pillows on it. They are probably called "Hyatt Grand" pillows. This hotel appears to be for business people as the beds only sleep one person, you have to pay for Internet and acccess and breakfast and everything seems to be a la carte including the $4.00 bottles of water for sale in the room. The rooms have no refrigerators. But really the beds were what ruined our stay as I didn't get a good night's sleep the whole time. I ended up sharing a sofa bed with my daughter as sleeping in the double bed with my husband was impossible. The Hyatt website does not clearly explain that their beds only comfortably sleep one person. I definitely don't recommend this hotel and am pretty disappointed in Hyatt too.
