I intentionally booked ahead for this particular hotel. I have been choosing Drury Inn's whenever possible. I was not disappointed.....for the most part. As usual the check in staff person was extremely friendly and helpful. I had booked two rooms that were to adjoin and they accommodated this request. The rooms were very nice and seemed(?) to have been recently renovated? The bathroom was very nice and the rooms were very nice. TV reception was excellent and the WiFi was very good. The nice thing about Drury is they usually use 'central' control (thermostat on wall) on the A/C. Also you can choose for the fan on the A/C to continuously run to help keep outside noise level at a minimum. The evening food options were a slight disappointment. Most of the food choices were geared for children.....in my opinion: Chicken strips (processed), Mac/Cheese, hotdogs. There was salad which was fresh, chili that was of decent quality, chips and of course free beverages which includes beer/wine. One should not rate a hotel on food but I add this anyway. The nights rest was good; excellent bedding. I did experience some slightly noticeable 'motor/fan' noise? It was not our unit so do not know where it might have been coming from unless it might have been the upper room? The breakfast was of good quality.....eggs were not 'processed' it did not seem?

All in all a very good stay. Excellent choice and as always Drury Inn's will always be my choice if that option is available wherever I stop.

Room Tip: We had an end of hallway room(s) next to stairway. It did not prove to be a problem but I would rec...

We like these Inns because it is possible to eat a light supper and a solid breakfast for the price of the room. Usually, we eat a slightly larger lunch when we make this trip, planning for an easy supper. On our most recent stay, it began raining shortly after we completed check-in and we were grateful to stay inside. The supper is pretty basic but sufficient. Breakfast is more complete. Rooms are clean and contain amenities such as microwave, small fridge, iron & ironing board. We look for Drury Inns when we travel.

Stayed one night at this Drury while on a quick trip to southern Illinois. Great location... Bob Evans is next door, 17th St. BBQ is a short walk. Great local pizza place, Mackie's, just across Rt.13. Black Diamond Harley-Davidson (a must if you are visiting So. IL) is also just a short walk.
The entire hotel was exceptionally clean; same goes for our room. Everything smelled clean & fresh...bedding, towels, etc. Our Queen bed was very comfy. Great shower. Hotel is quiet. The evening reception, and breakfast the next morning, were plentiful and quite tasty. (Only thing I might add about the evening reception --- the bartender was very concerned with who was getting drinks for who, and making sure our card was checked for each drink served. You are allowed three. I understand the reasons behind this, but my husband was not even allowed to get my next cocktail for me when he went for his!). The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and very willing to assist us in any way possible. This Drury is exceptional and we will stay here each time we visit Marion!

Room Tip: South side.

My wife and I stayed on Monday June 16th on our way driving back from Cedar Rapids to Atlanta. The hotel is located in a great spot with plenty of restaurants and shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, the TV was awesome and the staff was exceptionally friendly...particularly Nicole Ryan, AGM, who was hosting the evening complimentary hot food/cocktail reception. No wonder they win the J.D. Power Award for highest customer satisfaction each year! Thanks again from the Burdakins

A very good place to stop overnight. Nice room, clean, and a great bed. The room comes with an evening social hour that made a good meal and came with two drinks. The morning breakfast buffet was outstanding. Good selection, hot, and well prepared. All this at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: All the areas were quiet.

First time staying at this Drury Inn, but will not be the last time. Good stop for the night on your trip through the area. Good location, just off the interstate. Several places to eat in this same area. Breakfast is good, was not able to eat the kickback food. A smaller area for breakfast, but seemed to work out OK overall. Room was comfortable and clean. Overall the check in went very smooth and the front desk employees were professional This Drury Inn is worth consideration IF passing through the Marion Illinois area.

First time I've stayed at a Drury Inn, and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was courteous and friendly, and there is a 10:30 curfew on loud noise which seemed to work fine. Clean standard room, comfy beds, fridge, and a very nice free breakfast selection. Diner is available in the dining room, although we ate at the nearby Panera instead. Awoke refreshed and back on the road to Wisconsin.
