All the different birds and the noise they make. Also they have great pedestrian infrastucture when crossing the marshes to see the wading birds.

Although we have been to the reserve many times in the past, this was our first visit since the café opened. The reserve provides easy, flat, pleasant walking, with good views of the birds on the water from the hides. Also a stunning view of Conwy Castle. The new wildlife garden is interesting, and there were plenty of small birds around in that area. The monthly Farmers' Market was there on the day we went - an added attraction. The café in the old welcome centre is very pleasant - good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The shop in the new welcome centre seems better stocked and is less cramped than in the old centre, so much better for browsing. Altogether a very pleasant outing. Plenty of parking, and free entry to RSPB members.

Had good brisk walk round the reserve, not a lot of birds to see at this time of year, but the views and walks were very good. Also lovely café, shop and really helpful staff.

It is a pleasure to walk around the reserve with its views of the Conwy Valley and the Estuary. Even if birds are of minor interest to you, the walk alone is worth a visit

Immediately off the A55 and right on the Conway Valley. Plenty to see while we were there and we took advantage of being parked so close to Conway and walked into town using the footpaths available!
