We stayed in the Glan Conwy twice during the week of Saturday 25/08/12 - 28/08/12 the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. Unfortunately the only problem we came across was the heating in the room. It was unbearable and both my children and myself found it very difficult to sleep. The restaurant was busy but provided good food. The location is fantastic to get around North Wales

Room Tip: ensure you have a fan for your room if no air conditioning.

The Llandudno (Glan Conwy) was clean, comfortable and the food was excellent, we did however have a little problem when booking in (which has NEVER happened before) the female receptionist on duty had to be told on 2 seperate occasions by a member of the housekeeping staff that we waiting to book in and it still took her nearly 20 minutes to see to us, this will of course not deter us from staying with PI again as this person was the exception to the rule.

Great hotel just one little moan - no walk in shower in the disabled room (room 2) - very difficult for a disabled person to try and get in to a bath - considering the hotel had been recently re-furbished it seems a shame that a bit more thought didn't go into the bathroom.

arrived late afternoon, stayed in this hotel before so expecting roughly the same experience. having booked in we were told we were staying in the annex which is a new building adjacent to the hotel... first impressions were very good. bit of a struggle getting the suitcases upstairs as there was no lift. on entering our room.. as expected very clean but the settee hadn't been made up as a bed for out son. so off to reception i trot. the girl behind the desk was very apologetic and promised to have it made up when we went for food in the restaurant... we had booked in for 4 nights as we were sightseeing around north wales.. staff as always very polite and friendly.. there is a smoking area directly outside the building which did cause us a problem as there was a permanent smell of smoke on the first floor, every-time the door opened the smell of smoke would waft upstairs .we arrived back to the hotel on our last night i was horrified when i walked into the room only to find it the the way the "cleaner" had left our room. bathroom had been cleaned. our bed had just had the quilt thrown over it the pillows were still as they were in the morning. my sons bed hadn't been touched!!!!!! the floor wasn't hoovered and by the looks of it when the cleaner emptied the rubbish bin she had dropped some crisps on the floor. THEY WERE STILL THERE WHEN WE GOT BACK.. this was 7.30 at night we had been out all day so i was not in any mood to go and complain, only to be told that we would have to vacate the room for someone else to clean it .. this should have been done properly in the first place..so i decided to have a really close look at the " cleanliness" of our room. i lifted the net on the window only to find the room was over occupied, coz there were at least 10-15 small dead flies on it, the lamp on the desk also hadn't seen a duster for a few weeks. thank god we were leaving in the morning anyway!!.. would i go back!.. i really don't know !!!!...... food in the restaurant is good as it's quite busy you do feel though that they r waiting for you to finish so someone else can have your table

As a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child) we stayed here during the "busy" period of August, therefore paying a bit more than normal. We found the staff extremely helpfull, especially in the restaurant where the food is excellent value in terms of price and taste. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting north wales as access to the A55 is 1 minute away and easy to find all points of interest. I honeslty cant believe any negative comments on here (only 5 i believe) as we would be back here in a heart beat.
