“Fantastic suite, fantastic price, fantastic place!”
Reviewed 2 August 2010

We booked a King Suite at the Hampton Inn and it was very nice, spacious and clean. The high ceilings and room configuration with a wet bar by the door in a little hallway (made for added privacy when door opened), bathroom sink outside the actual bathroom and shower with tub, along with a desk, and sofa sleeper sitting area made this one of the most comfortable, usable rooms we have experienced. Room was very quiet, with no noise from the airport. Breakfast was adequate - the usual free breakfast fare with waffles, bisquits and gravy, muffins, etc. with a spacious eating area, but with the suite with desk we had, it was more fun to eat in the room! Everyone was very friendly and the quality for the price was exceptional. Very few good restaurants close by, but many cities to chose from with a short drive. Our only complaint was they need to update their "church list" and provide addresses/times. They only had one of our demonation on their list and it was the farthest one from the hotel, with 5 others in closer proximity that we found ourselves with research on the internet (in their 2-computer business center). We will DEFINITELY use this hotel only, if in the area again! You should, too!

We were traveling though Moline on our way to Wisconsin, so we didn't have a reservation. When we stopped to see about a room around 6:30 p.m., they only had four rooms left and they were suites. Although I didn't want to pay the price for a suite, $125, I didn't want to find another hotel, so we paid the price and went up to our suite. I was pleasantly surprised. Tthe room was huge and very nice. It had a wet bar inside the door, a large living room, two comfy queen beds, and nice size bathroom and vanity. The room and hotel were very clean, as has been the case with every Hampton Inn I've stayed in. The morning breakfast was plentiful and the seating area kept clean and well stocked. Friendly staff, accessible from interstate, and no airplane noise which was surprising since the hotel is across the street from the Quad Cities Airport. Again, Hampton Inn has come through as a first class hotel!

Nice, clean Hampton Inn. We stayed here as we drove through, so location wasn't too important for us. It's right by the airport, but I wondered if they used the airport at all, since we couldn't hear any outside noise from our room at all. Very clean, quiet rooms which seemed pretty large for a regular room.

Breakfast was free with the usual selections; the area was really clean and well-kept, so that's a plus. Free, wireless Internet worked just fine.

Our room had a glass-walled shower and not a tub - that worked fine for us, but if you want a tub, take note. They may have tubs in other rooms - I don't know.

I would certainly stay here if we're through Moline again (depending on the rate we could get).

The staff for this hotel was very friendly and helpful. Very conveniently located to major highways. It also is a smoke free hotel which was a plus.

We stayed in Quad Cities for two nights between Chicago and Omaha, and we took advantage of its close proximity to two terrific family-friendly museums in nearby Davenport and Bettendorf.

Our first room was not a suite, and we usually don't have to ask for an upgrade (with my Hilton Honors gold status, I am usually automatically upgraded), and the room overlooked some sort of nudie bar, so I called to the front desk and asked for an upgrade and room change. The receptionist complied immediately, upgrading us to a suite and placing us on the airport side.

Our room was not as big as typical Hampton suites, but I can't complain about everyone being able to sleep in their own queen beds (including the sleeper sofa), and the airplanes were fun to watch, but the hotel is very soundproof, so we never heard them, even early in the morning.

The hotel caters to business clients, so there were many single men in the hotel, but we felt comfortable in the pool area, at breakfast and in our rooms.

The decor can use a little updating, but I will always take safety over decor, anytime, and we will stay here again on our way to see family in Omaha.

The staff is eager to please, and they have a great snack shop for TV dinners and water, etc. The customer service here is top notch, and the housekeeping was very wonderful about giving us new towels and tissues (I had a cold).

In response to your review, thank you for the kind words but I just wanted to let everyone know that our hotel is nowhere near a "nudie" bar. The businesses that surround us are the Quad City International airport, Americas Best Inn, Bare Bones BBQ (restraunt, may have been confused for an adult establishment), and Flicks Furniture Store. Other businesses near us are Montana Jacks (restraunt), LaQuinta Hotel, McDonalds and Ramada Hotel. There is no "adult" establishment anywhere near us.

Thank You

This hotel is fairly new, or appears to be new. The rooms are nice, large and the bed is extremely comfortable.
When in the Quad Cities, there aren't a lot of decent options. The Radisson is on the river, however we wanted something close to the airport. This place is great! It beats the other airport hotels hands-down. They have nice continental breakfast every morning with something for everyone. They also have biscuits and gravy.

This is the place to stay in the QC!

We met some family members here for an overnight visit and all had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by several members of our group. There was a bunch of teenagers staying there for a softball tournament but we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or other rooms once we were in our room. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. This Hampton was a great experience as usual. The only potential downside for someone would be that there are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. That was not a problem for us, though.
