We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn in Moline, IL. It was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel has been remodeled to add an elevator, fitness center, and updated lobby area and rooms. We did have a little trouble with the air conditioning temperature as I see mentioned in a couple of other reviews, but the hotel staff helped us get the temp adjusted. The curtains are an issue, and we put items on the window sill to keep the air from being lost behind them. This worked out great for us. There is also a refrigerator and microwave in the room, which is an added bonus! Compared to other hotels we have stayed at recently, this was a great experience!

We recently stayed at this hotel. The employees were friendly and helpful. Price was good. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was a typical free hotel breakfast--nothing to write home about. The negatives included: 1) after a long and very hot day we wanted to take a dip in the pool, however the water was so cold no one could stay in for more than a few minutes Forget about the hot tub. It looked like someone dumped a gallon of Mountain Dew into the water. The water was so yellow. I wouldn't even put my big toe in to test the temperature. 2) the a/c was set at 68 which in my house would have been freezing, but it wasn't in this room. Ended up turning the temp. down farther in the middle of the night because the cold air was getting blown behind the curtains and not cooling the room adequately.

I wish I could tell what day you used the pool and spa. The temp and chemical levels of the pool and spa are kept at state regulations and checked twice a day by my maintenance staff. The pool water is replenished on Mondays and cooler for the first night until the heaters catch up. I apologize for the concerns you mentioned and thank you for sharing your information with me. The humidity this July has been high and affecting the room temperatures. We all look forward to a little cooler days/nights. We appreciate your kind words as well and stand by the philosophy that cleanliness and friendliness make the guests happy!

I've stayed at the Moline Comfort Inn twice now during work outtings; once in June and once in July (tonight as I'm writing this review). The recently updated hotel is very comfortable with nice beds, fresh paint on the walls and very friendly service. Breakfast is more than adequate with yogurt, cereal, juice, waffles, toast, fruit, eggs, sausage, and English muffins. I haven't used the pool so I can't offer any opinion on that subject. Overall, its a great place to lay down and feel refreshed in the morning. Definitely will stay again if I'm back in the Quad Cities!

We are thrilled that you enjoyed you time with us. Come visit us again the next time you are in the area. We love to see our friends time and time again. All the flowers outside the hotel just started to burst into full bloom and are beautiful.

A very disappointing stay in what could be a very nice hotel. The room was clean but needs updating. It was very noisy due to a group of young girls and their advisors. We could very easily hear the conversations of our neighbors in the next room. The breakfast was passable but nothing outstanding. Most likely will not go back again.

Have stayed here many times when we return to Il for family visits. Always a good place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Recently remodeled we were happy to see it now has an elevator since we have a disabled daughter and have always had to have a ground floor room. they also installed a lift for the pool!

Pet policy is excellent as well.
Hot breakfast every morning but remember that it is only till 10 on weekends but 9 on weekdays.

Even though we didn't have a "handicapped" room the room is still spacious enough for a wheelchair to maneuver with the exception of the bathroom.

Will definitely stay again.

We needed a hotel for a quick overnight stay. We didn't have reservations and we hadn't planned on a lot of the hotels being full due to flooding along the Rock River and locals staying in the hotels. We needed 2 rooms for family and ended up staying at opposite ends of the 2nd floor. We choose Comfort Inn for the indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was VERY SMALL and COLD and the hot tub is not designed well and poses multiple slipping/falling hazards. The room was adequate but as we were putting our shoes on the next morning we noticed that the bed skirts were really nasty. Overall it was a fairly clean warm dry place to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice pool/hot tub area.

Thank you for taking the time to post this overview. We apologize for your less than exceptional experience. We will use this information to improve any future guests stay. We do a deep cleaning of the pool and spa every Monday morning to keep it a safe place for our guest to use. It takes about 12 hours for the fresh pool water to get back up to a temperature of 82-84 degrees. I hope you will give us a chance to wow you by staying with us again.

The front desk clerk made a great impression. Our paperwork was ready and our room had been assigned, all I had to do is sign in and I was off to our room.

Clean room with plenty of room. Comfortable bed. Was happy with our stay and the departure process was as easy as the check in.

Thank you for the wonderful advise given on our Moline location. We just added an elevator to the two story hotel and remodeled the guest rooms as well as the public areas. Stop by to see all the recent updates completed in May of 2013. We aim to make all of our guests happy and returning customers.
