“Lovely Luncheon”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

What a lovely venue for lunch. The outdoor seating is beautiful, especially at night, but the rooms inside the mansion are tastefully elegant. Service for lunch was ok, not outstanding. We ordered the paella valenciana to share. It was very tasty, great saffron rice! We also began with a delicious gazpacho and each ordered additional tapas. I was looking for vegetables, but my sister had pork medallions which were very tender. All the food was tasty and yes, a bit pricy but not overly so. We walked the mansion looking at the rooms downstairs and upstairs. When we returned, our waiter whom we had not seen much during the meal, flagged us down for a birthday dessert, profiterole with a candle! My sister was pleased. The exterior grounds are lovely with lawns, gazebo, and a bricked area for a band and dancing. An adjacent building was being refurbished for banquets. I hadn't been there for several years preceding this visit so it was great to see so many nice improvements.

“Just ok”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Ate here last night for the first time. From the reviews I was expecting something amazing, instead it was just average. I used to live in Spain, so I am used to authentic tapas and this was just more like an attempt at it. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't as nice as I expected. However the wine was gorgeous and they do have a good selection on the wine list. The service was good also, but probably won't visit again.

“Outstanding food and service!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

You should definitely sit outside (weather permitting) in the gorgeous patio area. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. We shared tapas and all were delicious. We also shared a bottle of rose that was reasonably priced and tasted delicious as well.

“A divine evening!! Our10th Wedding Anniversary!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

How wonderful our meal was! I had the Duck Confit w/ apple & orange sauce, my husband, the Goat Cheese soup, Tomato basil. Their complimentary Spanish olives a delicious beginning.
10 years ago we were married in their Rose Garden with immediate family. Our reception was in their room with the exquisite leaded glass windows, which casted magic Colors on the desert roses & sterling silver julep cups, snow White linens. The harpist made for an indelible memory, as did my newest grandson Mac, barely 13 months who sat at table, never cried, never said a peep, laughed & was the sweet boy he is today almost 11, still the same sweet child with brotherCharlie!!
