What a lovely venue for lunch. The outdoor seating is beautiful, especially at night, but the rooms inside the mansion are tastefully elegant. Service for lunch was ok, not outstanding. We ordered the paella valenciana to share. It was very tasty, great saffron rice! We also began with a delicious gazpacho and each ordered additional tapas. I was looking for vegetables, but my sister had pork medallions which were very tender. All the food was tasty and yes, a bit pricy but not overly so. We walked the mansion looking at the rooms downstairs and upstairs. When we returned, our waiter whom we had not seen much during the meal, flagged us down for a birthday dessert, profiterole with a candle! My sister was pleased. The exterior grounds are lovely with lawns, gazebo, and a bricked area for a band and dancing. An adjacent building was being refurbished for banquets. I hadn't been there for several years preceding this visit so it was great to see so many nice improvements.
