“Very Enjoyable Experience”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

This was our second trip to the Lemon Grass in Naperville. The exterior is not impressive (sits in a strip mall) but the interior was decorated tastefully. No problems with getting seated quickly, servers were polite and attentive, prices are reasonable, and food was very good (Pad Tai and Mongolian beef this time). We enjoyed this Thai restaurant much more than others we have been to in the western suburbs, and we will go back soon.

“Our Favorite Friday Date Night Place”

Great food! Reasonable prices! We usually order the papaya salad and pad kee mao and share it family style. There is enough for left-overs too!

“The Best Restaurant we found in Naperville”
Reviewed 19 August 2011

Despite the unspectacular ranking in Trip Advisor, I suspected (based on other reviewer’s comments) that the Lemon Grass would be very good. It was even better than I had expected. I love Thai food and eat it whenever possible. This was outstanding and a great value for the price. Two of us ate and drank for under $30. OK, the presentation was not what you would get at 2 or 3 times the price, but this was a Thursday night afterthought. The quality and quantity leaves nothing to be desired.

“Best Thai Food Around”
Reviewed 25 December 2010

I love the flavors of Thai Food and Lemon Grass does it well. We always share and always get Panang Curry as well as one of the Spicy Basil dishes. With more people, we just get to try more dishes. They will bring a dish of pepper sauce so that groups without the same tolerance for hotness still enjoy everything. Appetizers are much better than the normal appetizers from Chinese restaurants - smaller, lighter, and with more complex flavors.

The presentation is also very nice and adds to the feeling that this food is something special and they care.. Overall, a great value - super food for reasonable prices.

“Very Good Thai Food”
Reviewed 7 December 2010

Been here several times and the food has always been good. We ordered take out once for a lunch meeting and it was rather bland; a local said I should have ordered it "Thai Style" to get authentic seasoning. I did that on our next take out order, and we were very happy with the result, although the curry dishes may have exceeded the spicy limit of some of our diners!
