“Les Miserables was Incredible!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 May 2014

We brought a group of 150 9th and 10th graders to this theater to see Les Miserables and they were all overwhelmed at the end at the beauty of this production. The theater is absolutely gorgeous and modern with bathrooms to handle large crowds at the intermission and well staffed. The actually delayed the opening curtain call by a few minutes for our group because we were late because one of our 3 busses had broken down. Wonderful experience!!! Would strongly recommend both this theater and this play!!!

“Lunch and Theatre Package”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2014

We really enjoyed our afternoon at the Drury Lane Theatre. We decided to do the package (lundh and show). The meal was good with a nice choice of starters and entrées. The theatre in itself is a nice size, not very big and every seat is a good seat. We saw Les Miserables (for the second time, the first 25 years ago in Chicago). This version may have surpassed the Chicago Broadway. The cast was fabulous and we felt close to them, we could hear and see them very easily. Very affordable on Thursday afternoon (free parking, 2 course lunch and theatre for $55 or 40 €). All in all, I might favor this theatre over the Chicago theatres.

“Very nice dinner and show”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

Here with a group for a dinner and Les Miserables. The food was very good banquet style. Chicken Marsala was good and nice to have carrots as a vegetable. Very nice facility but theatre was very cold. Show was excellent. Enough restrooms to get everyone through during the intermission.

“Great Sunday Brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 April 2014

We found this Sunday brunch through an article in a local paper. It had 10 stations with breakfast choices and lunch options. The food was very good especially for a buffet. They offer free mimosas which is always a plus. Bloody Marys are offered at a cost of $6, $8 or $10 depending on the quality of vodka you choose. I would recommend going early. We went at 10:30 and had a delightful time. By the time we left at 11:30 it was too crowded for us. Most people do not mind crowds but we felt a bit overwhelmed. There wasn't a wait at any of the stations even at 11:30 but there were just a lot of people.

“Good Production of Les Miserables”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014 via mobile

My wife and I really enjoy Les a Miserables and have seen multiple performances from London to New York to Chicago. We enjoyed the performance at Drury Lane, but found the staging a bit lacking. I didn't realize how much the turntable stage adds to the experience.

The Actors were all very good. The voices filled the Theater with the sounds of this outstanding play. It is well worth going to see if you are a Les Mis fan or a first time viewer. My only suggestion is get a seat closer to the center of the theater. We were seated about 5 rows from the stage, but to the far left (or as they call it stage right). We could not see anything on the screen center stage. We had similar seats at the Queens Theater in London and found they were perfect. I just think the sight lines at Drury Lane are not as good.
